-
Each auction organised by Industrial Auctions is assigned a unique auction number. The number before the dash, in bold here, stands for the auction number: 453-2
Every lot that is offered on an online auction is provided with a lot number. The number after the dash, in bold here, stands for the lot number: 657-2
-
On an auction page you will see the closing date and time. In addition, per category, but also per separate lot on the right side of a page, you’ll find the remaining time before the lot closes. If you track lots from an auction, you will also see whether a lot is open or closed on the 'Track my lots' page.
-
Please contact Industrial Auctions for this. You will be referred to the responsible project leader of the relevant auction for more information. Mention the auction and/or lot number.
-
You can find the machine you want in different ways. At the top of the website you can enter a search term or the lot number in the search bar, and the system will search for a match. For each auction, all machines are divided into different categories. In addition, you can sort the lots by lot number in ascending order by clicking 'Show by lot number'. If you do not find any results, you can also send an email to Industrial Auctions.
-
Please contact Industrial Auctions for this. You will then be referred to the responsible project leader of the relevant auction. The project leader will discuss the options with you.

For each lot, a great importance is attached to providing as complete information as possible. You can send your questions at all times or visit the viewing day if you do not find the desired information in the lot description. If you have any questions, please contact Industrial Auctions.

Placing your bid
-
Before you definitively confirm your bid, you will receive an overview with all amounts that apply to your bid and form the total price. On top of your offer, a buyer’s premium and VAT is calculated. The buyer’s premium depends on the country where the auction is organised. The VAT will be charged on top of your bid and the buyer’s premium.
-
Through 'Track your lots' you can see on which lots you placed a bid and on which lots you are the highest bidder. You are the highest bidder for lots with a green gavel. You are outbid for lots with a red exclamation mark.
-
If you place a bid in the last 5 minutes before the closure of a lot, the closing time will be extended by 5 minutes. This process will continue until no more bids are made in the last 5 minutes before the closing time.
-
After the entire auction has closed, Industrial Auctions strives to award the lots and send the proforma invoices as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours. After receiving the confirmation, you can make the payment and schedule the transport on the stated pick up date.
-
Static bid; If you are outbid, you will receive an email. In addition, a red bar stating 'You have been outbid on this lot' will appear on the lot page.
Proxy bid; You will receive an email of every bid within your proxy bid. The notification on the lot page remains green with the message 'You are the highest bidder'. You will also receive an email if your proxy bid has been outbid. If so, a red bar stating 'You have been outbid on this lot' will appear on the lot page.
-
After you have received the proforma invoice you can be certain of your purchase. After the entire auction has closed, Industrial Auctions strives to award the lots and send the proforma invoices as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours.
-
Go to the lot you are interested in. You can place your bid on the right side of this page. Click 'View your bid', where you will receive an explanation of the total amount. Click on 'Place bid'. Your bid has been placed and cannot be withdrawn. You can also bid directly on the lots you track, on the 'Track your lots' page by clicking the 'Place your bid' button. Through a two-step verification, you can easily bid without having to visit each lot page separately.
-
A combination is a collection of several lots that are offered on the auction. This is clearly stated in the individual lots. Recognizable by the symbol [C] and by providing a reference to the combination lot under the lot description. This way, you can buy an entire combination in one go. A combination will not open for bidding until the bidding process has been completed on all individual lots of the combination. The opening bid of a combination is the sum of all final prices of the individual lots, plus the next bidding step. Due to a bid on a combination, all bids on the individual lots will expire. If no bids are placed on the combination, each individual lot will be assigned to the highest bidder of that lot.
-
No, the bidding process is set up in such a way – with two-step verification – that it is virtually impossible to place a bid by mistake. Before confirming your bid, you can still cancel your bid. A bid once placed is binding.
-
Static bid - A bid where you determine the fixed amount of your bid.
Proxy bid - If you make a proxy bid, you indicate your maximum bid. The system will keep track of the further progress of the bids and, if necessary, outbids others with (a) new bid(s) on your behalf, up to the maximum amount you initially specified. Only if someone else places a higher bid than your proxy bid, you are no longer the highest bidder and you will be notified by email. If someone else places a static bid that is the same as your proxy bid, your proxy will come first (a proxy bid beats a static bid).
